The elegant simplicity of of classic curb link chain has always got me going. I don’t even know why, I just love it. Unadorned, uniform, it just looks super cool whether in silver or gold. But this isn’t any old gold, it’s 15ct, which always feels special to me, because it’s an alloy that’s no longer in production. It was used during the Victorian and Edwardian periods, but only until 1931, and was officially discontinued in 1932 (when 14ct replaced it, why? I do not know!). And this is an antique bracelet, in its original form, with an integrated clasp, which is a third reason why I love it so much. This bracelet is not showing off and saying ‘look at me!’. It is so quietly, effortlessly perfect, with its glowing identical links and hidden clasp, I hardly ever find a bracelet like this, she ticks ALL the boxes.
I love wearing a bracelet with my watch, it feels old school and traditional. However this baby will mingle with your other bracelets like she’s always been on your wrist. She’s a goody.
