1940s 18ct Gold & Old Cut Diamond Signet Ring

£950.00

Oh this is a belter of a signet ring. Gorgeous rich 18cy gold, and a decent weight too, this classic round headed signet is star set which a beautifully high crowned old cut diamond (approx 0.15ct). It needs no further embellishment, it speaks for itself.

Perfect for every day wear, this ring will stand up to being worn on the pinky (always the most vulnerable place for a ring), but looks fab on any finger. It has a lovely chunk to it, yet it’s not dominating, and it is super comfortable on. Dating to 1941, the gold has had a polish, but there is no hiding those perfectly softened edges, that can only be achieved through decades of wear. This is what I love about a classic signet shape, it softens with age, but retains its structural integrity, bottom line is, this ring has aged incredibly well!

This babe will add punch to your stack, but is enough all on it’s own, a timeless classic that will look as fabulous in another 87 years time!
