Bursting with symbolism, this seemingly practical jewel would have been chosen to ‘guide the way’. Perhaps literally, but more importantly, metaphorically. We all seek direction in times, and I don’t mean left or right! Guidance and a nudge down the correct moral path, a push to make the correct decision, I don’t know about you but I need that sometimes! This compass jewel signifies all of this.
The compass itself is secured inside a neat silver bezel, which is then wrapped in a twisted gold border, super decorative and pretty but not over the top. The reverse is set with a bottle green disc of glass (I think it’s glass, hard to tell for sure, it could be dyed agate but I am going with glass).
A beautifully sentimental piece that would make the loveliest gift, for yourself or a loved one.
