1960s Rose Gold Lucky Bean Pendant
A delicious little lucky bean, the first I have had in rose gold. A symbol of good luck favoured as far back as the Victorian period, this sweet petite bean is naturalistically modelled, complete with its ‘belly button’ on the side (I don’t know what this is called, it’s where it attaches to the pod!!!). Highly collectable and always in demand, this treasure will make a lovely addition to any jewellery box.
Era
1962
Material
9ct rose gold
Hallmarks
Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, with Birmingham date letter for 1962
Measurements
16 × 6.5 × 4mm not including bale.
Condition
Great vintage condition, a couple of teeny shallow dings, barely noticeable
