I adore these rings. Reassuringly chunky, but with the perfect curves, a super bright sparkling diamond (estimated weight 0.2ct) safely nestled in its mount, and so so good for stacking, and every day wear. The diamond is eye clean, and I love the very slightly oval shape. Perfection!
I’m dating this to circa 1925/1930 as it most definitely has age, the way the stone is set, is very much the ‘old way’ but the stone is more modern than an old cut. Either way it’s a stunner! The gold is super rich, enhanced by the ‘chunk’ of the mount. There is a generous use of gold here. Just delicious.
