Antique 9ct Gold Bloodstone Signet Ring
This little ring was nestled within a very busy jewellery cabinet at a fair, and it quietly sung out to me. It is neat and perfect in its form, softly decorative with its pretty shoulders, all correct and unadulterated with crisp hallmarks; just a sweetly perfect example of an antique signet ring. Instead of big red splodges the very dark bloodstone has tiny smatterings of red, you have to look for them, I love it. The gold is yellow but with a lick of pink.
Completely gorgeous as she is, but she would make a good candidate for engraving if that interests you. I think she’s an ideal pinky ring (I do love a signet on the pinky) but there are no rules, where her as you see fit! Re-sizing isn’t a problem.
