This is so so pretty! So much detail has been packed into this jewel! It’s like those sweet stick pin conversions I sometimes have, except this is bigger, and not taken off stick pin. I/m thinking it was maybe part of an earring once, or even a fringe necklace? She’s hollow, and looks heavier than she is. Either way it is perfect as a pendant, made so beautifully, and she’s French, so you know she’s top quality.
The scalloped edges make it look like a flower, with super intricate engraving to each petal. The little diamond is set in a super sharply engraved star, but my favourite part is the little dots on the reverse. When a jeweller goes to the trouble of decorating the reverse, you know it’s a good piece.

There is a boar’s head on the loop for the bale, and a ‘bigorne’ mark. There’s also a mark within a lozenge but I can’t quite make it out
