An absolute beauty, this flush set old cut diamond ring has the most beautiful shape. It dates to circa 1900, but it inspired by medieval ‘stirrup’ rings, with that almost triangular shape at the head. The rich 18ct gold mount has a delicious solid feel, yet is delicate and feminine. The old cut diamond (approx 0.30-0.35ct, beautifully bright and clean) sits so neatly and perfectly, the crown is just proud of the mount, as it should be.
Rings like these are hard to come by, 15 years ago I saw them all the time, but they soared in popularity (for good reason) and are kind of scarce now. I have a similar ring for my engagement ring, and I can vouch that not only are they beautiful, but incredibly hardwearing and perfect for every day wear, stacking and making you very happy!
