Never have I ever had a chain like this, in silver OR gold. Wowee. It is crazy! I feel like it must have belonged to someone very arty and avant-guarde, as this would have been considered pretty wild when it was made in the late 40s. It is bold and striking, with open rectangular links interspersed with oval links and then ridged oval links with pairs of little silver bobbles. Aaaargh it’s just the coolest thing ever! I think what I love about it most, is that it looks so clean and fresh and modern worn today, this is the joy of fabulous jewellery from years gone by.
This is a one and done kind of chain, nothing else is needed! I am so excited to offer this incredible chain, I know it will make its new owner as happy as it makes me!
I don’t think it is quite in its original form; an inch or so of cable links have been added for length and I have no way of telling if the t-bar has always been there, but it works magnificently well all together. If you want the t-bar removed, no problem, just ask.

The t-bar has the lion passant and Chester date letter for 1923 and maker’s mark B&S, the dog clip has a Birmingham date letter for 1902 and maker’s mark F.W.C. And then on one oval link on the chain, there is a date letter for both 1947 and 1997 (!) and maker’s mark MO and a 925 stamp. So it is safe to say there have been some re-purposed components here!
