Now I’ve had envelopes, but never one with a tiny golden letter inside! This piece is just incredible, a perfectly formed little envelope, with a tiny cabochon ruby, and teeny letter inside! The letter can be take out, and it could even be engraved if you wished.
Its a masterpiece in miniature, the fold of the envelope is hinged and it clips shut where the ruby sits. I cannot imagine the patience and skill required to make this! It’s one of those magical little jewels, that despite being small, is just so very special.
