I’m obsessed. Instead of pendants on gold chains this summer, let’s do coral chains instead.
These micro beads were rescued from an 18th century sautoir that couldn’t be saved. They have been expertly strung and finished with a 9ct gold barrel clasp (love a barrel, easy for nearly any pendant) to make just the prettiest necklace ever. Sweet on it’s own, but I really love how it looks with a pendant, so so cool and a little different. Somehow a pendant is changed when it’s on this chain, so so good!
The beads date to the 18th century, and have been restrung with a modern/vintage clasp
