Victorian Pavé Turquoise Bombe Ring
The coolest little ring. Often you see great big domed versions, but I love this petite one in a pretty navette shape. The turqs have been set so neatly, it’s a work of art. Mounted in 9ct gold and silver, the ring feels amazing on, it’s so smooth and comfortable, and would actually stack really well with other bands.
The turquoise cabochons really pop, so vibrant after all these years, and I love the one little anomaly that has darkened to a green. I would keep this ring away from water, more specifically hand creams and any chemicals that could affect the porous turquoise.
Era
Circa 1880
Material
9ct gold (tested), silver and turquoise
Size/Measurements
L.5 (UK) 6 (US), can be sized minimally. The ring is 6mm at the head, tapering down to a 1.1mm band at the bottom
Weight
1.6 grams
Condition
Very good antique condition. There are some little marks on the inside of te ring which look a lot more noticeable in the photos than in real life
