A proper Victorian ring, made beautifully and set with five lovely turquoise cabochons. Without the claws of a classic ‘half hoop’ ring, I prefer this design, it’s neater and more modern looking, despite being made over 125 years ago. I love how four of the stones are pretty much uniform in colour, then you have one naughty little rogue, who has decided to change colour. I adore this ‘imperfection’, not something you will ever find in cookie cutter modern jewellery, it is truly unique.
The ring is decorative but simple, with clean lines; the band tapers down at the bottom to make it super comfortable to wear, and easy to stack. As with all porous stones, it isn’t advisable to wash the dishes/shower etc in this ring, as soaps can be absorbed and change the colour of the turqs further.
