Antique 9ct Gold Double Sided Heart Locket
A super sentimental vessel for your most prized photographs, some pressed flowers, or perhaps a lock of hair. A neat gold frame keeps the two heart shaped glass pieces together, and the top crews on and off to secure it all. A super simple but highly effective design, I have had several circular ones, but the heart ones are rarer. This is a very generous size, and therefore even trickier to come across.
The original photographs are intact, and they melt my heart. A little boy and girl, presumably the children of the first owner, just too gorgeous. Of course it is up to the new owner to decide what goes inside.
Someone has put an extra bale on the top, probably to allow for a bigger chain, this can be kept or removed.
